My most recent work has enabled me to utilise all the skills that I have been acquiring over the last 9 years.
Organisation, time management, database control, strong communications skills across all levels, knowledge of the media and journalism skills, and determination to succeed have all helped me in my most recent work.
Working as a freelance press and pr manager, for both short term and retained contracts, has been a great way to get my name out there and to make new contacts.
Although the work can be very time consuming, once the contacts have been made you can start building relationships that will only get stronger in time.
It has also enabled me to show off both my research skills and my multi media skills.
I believe that the role that a virtual assistant, like myself, can play in such events and projects is huge as it removes a lot of stress and repetitive work away form the business.
I am so happy that I have been working with small businesses who can really see the benefit of my work and appreciate the time and effort that is put in. The result of this way of working has been the formation of bonds with other small business, of the same mindset, where we can support and learn from each other.
