Working Conditions

• Creative Sidekick uses Microsoft Office

•.For insurance and safety reasons we cannot permit personal visits to Creative Sidekick premises

• Please send any original documents via a secure postal service

• Responsibility and liability does not lie with Creative Sidekick concerning the end use of documents or work   carried out

• Creative Sidekick will provide you with a written quotation prior to commencing work (this is valid for 2 months)

• Agreements can be terminated in writing 30 days prior to commencement by either party. Work carried out prior to cancellation will be charged.

• In the event of equipment failure Creative Sidekick will not be liable for the loss of information.

• Error notification – The client is responsible for final proof reading of documents. Although unlikely, if notified within 48 hours of errors, these will be corrected (an additional charge may be applicable). After 48 hours the work has been accepted as free of any errors and therefore Creative Sidekick accepts no liability or loss that may arise from any work carried out under our agreement.

Creative Sidekick and data protection

• Unless instructed, files will be deleted after 12 months

• Creative Sidekick takes every care to ensure all against virus infection, clients are advised to make sure they are fully protected by running their own anti virus software.

• Third parties will not have access to any information unless legally required

• Creative Sidekick will guarantee confidentiality

How will I pay?

• Pay As You Go clients are required to pay a deposit of up to 50%.

• Payment can be made either by cash, cheque or bank transfer in NZD

• Monthly retainer packages must be paid in advance (unused hours may be carried over for 1 month)

• Clients will be charged to the nearest 15 minutes

• Any returned cheques will incur a fee

• If original requirements change, we reserve the right to change the original quotation following suitable client negotiations

• Payment is strictly 14 days from receipt of invoice

• Failure to pay within 14 days will result in interest being charged (at a rate of 3% over base rate) per month on outstanding balance

• If Creative Sidekick needs to chase outstanding payment, costs incurred will be charged to the client

• Additional costs i.e. telephone, rail/bus travel, printing, stationery, postage or other expenses will be charged separately to hourly rate / package cost

• Car travel will be charged at a rate of 40p per mile plus hourly rate

• If specific fast turnaround is requested, additional charges may be applied

• All charges will be reviewed each year. Clients will be notified of any new charges in writing.
